This Year: The Best , The Worst and The Ugly.

The Best
The Kapiti Island trip was the best because we got to go on a boat  that went really fast. I thought that Kapiti island was  really exciting and cool. My favorite part of the trip was when we reached the top of the island, the lookout was cool. The view was amazing.The Kaka  jumped  on my dad's shoulder  and undid his backpack and it took Gabe's lunch.
I have enjoyed being in the digital class, I have learnt alot and i like working on the computer. I also enjoyed the class timetable because i knew what the plan was for the day and i could see what work i had to finish.
I really enjoyed going to Paraparaumu College. I liked meeting Mr Fountain , the principal he is really and I met him at the park one day with his twins. I liked the visits  we  did with Ms Sutherland. I liked having a look around the college because it helped me  learn my way around. When we went in the Learning Support Room I saw one of my mums students.  

The Worst
I didn't like getting in the red book because i missed out on special privileges
like infection down at the park ,technology and the fun swim.
I really did not enjoy doing Nelson card with Mrs Brittain Morby because i thought it was a waste of my time.

The Ugly
This year there has not really been any ugly part in the year apart from having to do dictation  .

If was was in the circus

If was was in the circus i would be a type rope walker because i am afraid of heights then that will help me concur me fear of heights. And it would also help me balance. It would be fun being a type rope walker because it would make me feel like im walking on air and walking on air would be a lot of fun.

in my perfect sandwich in it would have two slices of bread homemade from my dads bread maker and i would put some lettuce ham mayo and some sour cream
to would spread not much butter on the bread other wise the bread would get to soft and it would lost its flavor and that would be my perfect sandwich.

Core Dynamics

Core Dynamics

 We had take part in some activities , they were called  Core dynamics. the activities were hanging knee lift,press ups, pull ups, bleep test vertical  jump , 

standing broad jump , a 12 minute run, skipping , bepth jump,long jump , shuttle jump and a minute run.We had to do the over several days.  i was away for the some of the time so  couldn't do everything.  

The exercises I completed were:Hanging knee lift - I got 4, Press up - 1, Pull up 2, on the beep test i got up to level 4 stage 3 on the Vertical jump i got 2.18 meters on the 12 minute run i ran 7 and a half laps around the field when i did the skipping i manged to do 35 skips

in a time of 1 minute in long jump i got 1 point. The activity i enjoyed most was the hanging knee lift because i tested my strength and ability to hold myself up above the ground. The activity i didn't enjoy was skipping  because i am very bad at skipping because i cant get the timing right and my feet always get tangled around the skipping rope and my arms and my wrists get tired.

If i had a superpower

If I had a superpower I would have the power to be super smart. I would be able to do heaps of things like my school work super-fast. This would mean I would have more time to play PlayStation. If mum and dad asked me to do chores like make my bed or do the dishes or feed the dog I would be able to get those jobs done quickly.

I would also use my super smart powers to help everyone. I would use my special super scientific power to invent a drug that would cure sickness and diseases. I would give the sick people the medicine for free, there would no more sickness in the world and people would be happy.

I would use my super intelligent power to help people understand that war is wrong and that there are other ways to sort out problems. I would also make sure that everyone in the world had enough food and water and places to live in.

 I would use my super power to make the world a better place. I would travel around the world in a special jet and visit people from every country. I would have a very exciting life.  

why cant we

Why can't we have more school holidays.? 

I would like more school holidays because my family can get to do things we can't do in school time. I also think it is very important that we get more breaks as we get tired during the school term. 
More school holidays would give teachers more time to train and prepare resources. 
My mum is a teacher and she is always doing schoolwork . 
If we had more holidays kids would get to do fun things at home. In the holidays 
I like to the movies with my friends and hang out at home and play PlayStation and Wii. My favorite play station game is Lego Marvel and my favourite Wii game is Wii Sports Resort. 
My brothers like school holidays because they go  to camp. They get to do fun things and I get a break from them. In summer we go to the beach and go fishing and boating
In winter we need a longer holidays because lots of people get very sick and need time to rest up. 
I think everyone should get together and tell the Government that we need more holidays. If people have more holidays they are happier and more happy people are  
better for the country. 

week 3&4

What I have learnt in week 3 and 4

Technology: Last week I was in metal work I finished my fruit bowl. I was very proud of it because I got to finish, it looked good because I know I made it myself. But i ran out of time to color it. This week we started sewing we are making bags. I am not looking forward to finishing my bag because I don't like sewing.

Maths: We are learning about mult/div and I am using a number line to  help me find an answer.

Reading: I' m doing a novel study on Follow that spy. I have read two chapters. The main characters are playing spy games and looking for things, so far they have found a brief case and a watch.

Life Ed: In the first week we learnt about  about trying to keep a balance in your life
and making sure  your body and brain are healthy. We talked about not taking drugs or alcohol  or all our brain cells will die. On the second week of life Ed  we got to see Harold and he whispered to Paula to give us a kiss.
